I’m a multi-genre author and poet whose work explores the intersection of genealogy, folklore, and women’s spirituality. I’m also a registered nurse, medical writer, and genealogist who brings an evidence-based perspective to my writing by weaving history and science into my work wherever I can. I’m the author of The Magic in Your Genes and the forthcoming Motherline Grimoire, among others, and I've been walking a delightfully wild and magical path for nearly 40 years. ​When I’m not writing, I travel the world in search of grandmothers, tend my flower gardens, and wander the woods near my home in Virginia.
